Craft Room Project

This is a typical day in my world. Make coffee take a bite of toast start the truck. Now my list where is my list. I need that list so I know what to take to town today.

Oh yes I left it upstairs in my craft room. After an aggravating ten minutes of searching and rewriting the list from memory. I realized I needed help. I can’t find anything. I need to keep pace with my schedule and my dumping ground of an office slash sewing room slash scrap booking slash gift wrap area was just stressing me out.

I did not know where to begin. SO much of this room was memories and necessary JUNK.

My husband would not even go in there.

So over a calm cup of coffee I discussed the issue with Leah Tait. She showed me some ideas and pictures of what could be done. I guess the best part was I did not have to tackle it alone. She helped. She worked as hard as I did if not harder! She gave direction and sympathy.

She also promised not to tell anyone how much junk there was.

We found a gem in the cellar that worked great for storage. We revamped my workstations. We re-used and bought new but it looks like it has always been there. It feels good and fresh and clean!

If I need a gift or a last minute card it is at my fingertips. If I just want to create I don’t have to move boxes to get to my station. If I need to work from home my computer is actually up and running not hidden behind junk.

Thank you Leah for your patience and guidance thru this process. I admire your creative and kind spirit.

Good Luck in your new Business
